I am pleased to have a painting accepted for an exhibit at the 2013 Green Mountain Watercolor Exhibition at the Red Barn Gallery on the grounds of the Lareau Farm Inn. Route 100, Waitsfield, VT. A reception is planned on Sunday, June 30 from 3-5pm. The closing is Sunday, July 28 at 5pm. I plan to be at the opening reception and it would be great if you, my blog followers, were there, too.
Watercolor? you may ask. AS I have been concentrating on acrylic on canvas for a while, now. However, I did have some unusual watercolor paintings in a show at the WHAT Gallery in Wellfleet a few years ago – and this is the last of these paintings not yet sold. It is an underwater image with many “microscopic beasties” floating in sky-reflecting blue water. It’s title is “Waterworks” (22″ x 30″). With summer nearly here, and the Cape a perfect place for watercolor work, I plan to return to these images. (Just after I complete this last large canvas in acrylic.)
