Not Socially Distancing was painted during the strange stretch of COVID isolation when days, weeks, and months seemed to blur together. Outside, though, the gardens were doing exactly the opposite of keeping their distance. Flowers crowded together alongside butterflies, bugs, petals, and seeds, filling the spring and summer with color and movement. People may have needed their space, but thankfully, the garden did not.
