I was working to achieve a similar flow and delicacy of paint with acrylic as I have accomplished with watercolor paints. The mediums are different and I was not willing to water down the acrylic enough to have a watercolor-style result; however, the acrylic paint does stand on its own – giving depth to the patterns here. The walking stick is a bug that I have encountered – in both Vermont and Panama. I am certain that they live in many environments in-between.
