Pods in Blue Can brings together pods gathered from my gardens, including a few volunteers that appeared on their own. On this small canvas, the collection nearly overwhelms its container and the edges of the painting, with shapes and colors crowded tightly together. There’s a lot of garden squeezed into twelve inches of canvas.
