Garden with Heavy Dew takes a close-up view of the garden, almost as though I had fallen right into the middle of it, which I may actually have done while playing with my grandsons in California. I was especially drawn to the irregular, rounded shapes of the leaves and the way the heavy dew settled across them. At eye level, the familiar garden becomes its own small landscape.
