Farmhouse #3 continues a series in which each farmhouse became less about the original reference and more about my own choices of color, shape, and composition. As the series developed, I began stripping away some of the surrounding landscape, removing trees and adding flowers, utility poles, and other elements of my own. The houses that emerged became increasingly isolated, an idea I continue to explore in my most recent work.
