Daisy’s Bouquet gathers a profusion of flowers into one exuberant arrangement, with daisies providing small moments of familiarity among the looser, more imaginative blooms. Like many of my flower paintings from this period, the bouquet is less about botanical accuracy than color, shape, and the pleasure of letting flowers become whatever they want to be on the canvas.
