Composition with Weeds brings together an unruly collection of weeds and a single plum on a small canvas. As I painted it, I began thinking of the composition of mine by another name: CHOMP. The weeds seem almost ready to close in around the fruit, turning an ordinary bit of garden growth into something a little more playful.
