Blue Wash returns to the familiar flower bouquet, this time set against a loose wash of blue. A lily spills outward from the vase rather than staying neatly within the arrangement, giving the flowers a sense of movement against the fluid background. I liked letting both the flowers and the paint escape their expected boundaries.
