Bee Mine hides a small visitor among the flowers. Look closely and you’ll find a bee tucked into the painting, perhaps inspired by one that found its way into my studio while I was working. I’ve always loved the bugs and bees hidden in Renaissance paintings, small details waiting to reward a closer look, so I enjoy giving them a place in my own work too.
