This 6″x6″ painting on board was created for the annual exhibit at a local restaurant. This year’s theme was “stand”. I painted a stand of trees with the river (swamp) moving up to and flooding the roots of the forest. It had been raining a lot in Vermont but the political commentary is there, too.
