Sometimes an image imposes itself on me and I follow what I feel that I need to see. This piece was created during one of the many eruptions in the middle east – at the beginning of the destruction of Syria. The interpretations of the man/ the book/ the setting are multi-various: from the book of answers about why people want to destroy without boundaries of caring to why people KNOW that they have the “most correct” answers. Perhaps my book of peace has only questions to consider. Is the concept of Peace universal? Is the arm of war fought by the young who don’t yet understand the pleasures of a peaceful life? If all the warriors were fed food instead of rhetoric, would no one march off to war?
