Minda’s Forest was painted in response to Minda Berbeco’s work in carbon sequestration in forests in Massachusetts – work completed for her PhD in Biology.
We went for walks through the Harvard Forest in central MA near Williams College where she showed me her area of study: the trees, salamanders and much of the forest floor.
